Piggly Lilah

Of course with Lilah one of her first words would have to revolve around food and sure it did!!! Cracker!!! ( Racker) She barley says "mama," says "Dadda" all the time. Also she is so my daughter, and is saying "OOWES" ( Shoes).

My little comic!!! I just wonder what will come out of that mouth next, probably food related or something to bug her brother!!!

Right now her favorite thing is being chased. My mom, the kids and I were at the mall and she let Lilah out of the stroller and Lilah was running all around. It is like you just need to let her go and she will come back, but if you start to go after her then her little wheels really start to take off!!!

I love watching her grow up and become a little girl. With Lilah around there is never a dull moment. I love watching her with Evan. She just adores him as does he with her. They are just so rough, bugger butts, busy and sweet to each other. I love how they treat each other, most of the time.

My moments!!!

Today is just one of the many days where I feel so blessed to have Evan and Lilah in my/our lives!!!

They bring me such joy. I went out and met some women last night at church and we were all telling each other about ourselves and all I had to say was about the kids. I love that my world is here for them and that they are my world. I love that we can just sit and home and play all day and the day goes by so fast. We have so much fun just being with each other. God has truly blessed all of us with kids and those special people in our lives.
Last night one of the ladies said that God gives you people in your life that you need. Of course many people pooped up in my mind, a few stood out by far. They have helped me in more ways then they probably know. Just like the kiddos!!! I love just sitting and watching them grow and learn. I love how they love each other and how they are just growing up to be wonderful kids.

Poor little Evan

So the past few days Evan has been really sick. Throwing up and everything that comes with it. I just love when I see things that I know they are my kids. It truly makes me feel and know that I have so much influence on them.

I remember being sick and my grandma always making me peanut butter toast, even when I was not sick. That is what Evan asks for. That has been the only thing he has kept down for the last 4 days. I just think it is so weird that he wants that and asks for it.

He is being such a trooper with being sick and Lilah is being pretty good as well. She was defiantly bored today not being able to play with her brother. We were able to get out and take a few walks today, which was good for all of us. Lilah even walked the block by herself, took us a while, but it worked and we all had fun!!!

Hopefully tomorrow my little big guy will be on the mend and back to normal.

Lilah and eating :)

This girl will never learn how to use a utensil. She has found a much easier way to eat...licking the plates :) She has so much personality it cracks me up all the time. She is just a sweet little lady that loves to lick her plates clean!!!

Friends and the park

It had been raining for so long and it was finally nice out, so we loaded up and met some friends at the park. We had a blast. It was windy, but when we were in the sun, it was beautiful!!!Evan was driving the ladies around in his Jeep and having such a great time. Lydia was driving the Jeep as well, and her strong little legs could barley reach the petals. We brought a blanket and our lunches and had a wonderful time in the park eating out lunches. I am so excited for the weather to continue to be warm and nice, so that we can eat outside every day!!! We love having our friends around and being able to do activities with them. The kids have a blast with them and I love my friends as well!!

Dentist TIME!!!

The kids had a dentist appointment a couple weeks ago and they did wonderful. Evan went back to the room all by himself. She said he laid there like a big kid!!! He even had x-rays done of his teeth. I can't believe how big he is getting. He is so independent.
Then it was Lilah's turn. We tried to lay her down on the chair and Evan tried to help her and tell her it was ok. He is so sweet. She did not want to lay down on the chair, so to my lap she went. She cried and Evan was helping, but she only has a few teeth so she did not have to lay very long.

They both did not have any cavities, but I am sure one will come down the room some time in the future. We brush well and they like to floss, so that is a nice thing.
