Evan

Evan had a doctors appt today and he did so well!!! He let the doctor look at him and just sat there like a champ!! He is so wonderful and is doing so well. He is 33lbs and is 39 inches tall!!! He is becoming such a big boy and I was so proud of him today. I even told him that he might have to get shots and he was ok with that!!! I can't believe I took him to his 3 yr check up. It is just crazy!!!

EVAN TURNS 3!!!

Oh my goodness!! I can not believe that Evan is 3!!! In some ways it seems like we just had him and that he should still be a baby and in other ways I can not really remember my life without him in it. He is an awesome kid ( not baby anymore)!!! Something I started with him and now Lilah is making their cakes. I am hoping that they will LOVE it through their childhood and know that this is what they get every year is a home made cake from their mom, designed how they would like!!! His 1st birthday we did a monkey cake and cupcakes which were awesome!!! 2nd birthday he requested a bus. turned out great at home. Mike and I were so proud of it and then we had to transport it to the park on a hot day, poor bus had a little accident on the way there, but we had one pretty side. I remember my grandma saying "It taste better than it looks." So nice :) This year he stepped it up for me. He asked for 2. OH JOY!!! He wanted a dump truck and a tractor, so that is what my boy got. Surprisingly easier than the last 2 years and what I thought it would be.

We went put-put golfing this year and it was a blast. I prayed all morning long for it to not rain hard while we were playing outside ( the one year I truly plan something for outside it is raining, unlike the last 3 years where it is been in the high 80's and higher). We got our answer!!! No rain when we started to golf, towards the end of the first 18, it did start to sprinkle, but nothing that the kids and a coat could not handle. After the awesome presents and wonderful cake the sun was out shinning bright and us kids when back out to do another 18!!! It was still crazy like every party, but so much fun. I will never forget it. We are so blessed to have so many wonderful friends and family around us and we love celebrating with them.

ZOO TIME!!!

Be prepared to see many more pictures of ZOO TIME!!! We love going to the zoo and try to do it a few times a month when the weather is nice. It is such a great way to learn all sorts of things and I love spending time with the kids. I have just as much fun as they do here. Evan would point to the animals and tell Lilah to look at them and tell her what they are. It is so much fun to just pack a lunch and sit out on the grass after looking at a bunch of animals. The kids had a blast running around during lunch in the open spaces. Can't wait to go back, hopefully next week with Mike!!! It was the perfect day to go to the zoo. I love how well Evan listens and that I am able to let him run ahead a little and he will stop when I say stop. I love all the questions that he asks and that he is wanting to absorb everything, sometimes it does get a little annoying when he asks the same question about the same animals!!! Yes they all use their trunks to spray water :) He just cracks me up!!!

Cookie Time!!!

We have always said Lilah loves to eat!!! She ate another amazing dinner and we decided to give her a cookie for dessert!!! Man OH Man did she love it!!! She had that chocolate all over her face!!! She is so much fun to watch eat, she cracks us up at the table. She has been shaking her her head NO at the table and other times for a while now, but the last couple weeks she has been shaking her "head" ( whole body) YES!!! It is fun to ask her questions and she will shake yes or no to. I love watching her grow everyday!! And Evan!!!
