SNOW DAY!!!

Finally!!! we got some decent snow. The kids and I had so much fun playing in it this am. We took the sled out and got to go down the hill a few times in it and Evan and I had a great snowball fight!!! He has so much fun having snowball fights. He just laughs and laughs, I could listen to it all day long. His drool just slides out of his mouth and that cracks me up even more.

Lilah was not sure about her gloves. She did not like to crawl around or try and walk with them on. She had fun watching Evan and I going down the sled. It was so much fun to see her smile.

I was pushing the stroller and pulling the sled at first and then I got the idea that I can push the sled with the stroller and Evan got us home!! It is still snowing as I write, but a lot of it has melted away. I just wish it would pile up again and stay around for a few more days and that mike could be home to play around with the kiddos!!!
There is something so peaceful about looking outside and seeing everything white and watching the snow flakes come down. Everything looks so pretty Even though it is the same street that I look out onto everyday it just looks so different white. I know a lot of people don't like the snow, but it is fun. It is nice to just sit back and relax. It makes you slow down and realize how lovely life is, how much we have to be thankful for. I am one to talk about taking it slow..we/I am always going, but days like these are so wonderful. Life is a true Blessing and these days are ones to be very thankful for!!!
Ok enough with my pretty wonderland mood... I just love the kids playing and exploring!!! I took pics with my phone and I am trying to figure out how to upload them on here. Hopefully I can get some on here

Valentines Day

What a day!!! Mike and I do not really celebrate it, but we love to do something for the kids.

We started the morning off with presents for them. Evan got a monster truck track and some candy and Lilah got her first My little pony, a super cute shirt and her very own fruit snacks!!!

Then I made heart shaped pancakes for Mike and the kids topped off with a little whipping cream and strawberries!!! Lilah chowed them down, like she does with all of her food, Evan took a couple bites.
Then for lunch I made PB&J heart shaped sandwiches. This was Lilah's first sandwich and first time having Peanut Butter. She ate the whole thing and Evan even ate his.
Now for dinner... We are going to make our own personal sized heart shaped pizzas. Evan will have so much fun making them and loves doing them in hearts!!! They both enjoyed their pizzas!!!

We had such a wonderful day!!! Fun to change the day up once in a while and do new stuff. I need to remember how much fun doing all of this was, so we do it more often. Shapes are so much fun to do with foods!!!

Monster Trucks

Oh my gosh I love the Pay Back coupon book!!! I used a coupon in it for the Monster trucks for Evan and Mike and they had a blast and we got it for so cheap!!!

Mike, Evan, Uncle Bobby and Kyler all went to the monster trucks together. They had such a great time and had front row seats ( love the coupon book). Mike said that Evan was holding onto the seat in front of him and kept saying "WOW." Then when they would leave the arena he would ask for more and say " another one come out, another one?" He had a blast!!! Evan even wore the ear plugs, for about half the time and then wore ear muffs!!! I was very proud of him for that.
I am so bummed that I was not able to go, but had fun with just Lilah and I know that Evan and Mike needed that time together as well.
Hopefully next year will be a family outing!!!
I am just so happy they had a wonderful time together.
Mike got some really great pictures on his phone I will try and upload those to the blog!!

Camping!!!

Who knew it was going to be such great weather in October to go to the beach. This was Lilah's first time camping and we all had a blast. Evan got to ride the quad with Mike and liked it, but was way more into riding his quad around. Evan became a pro at roasting marshmallows and playing in the sand. We got to take the dogs out on the beach and just let them run free. Evan had a so much fun watching them run and trying to catch them. Grammie, Grampie and Uncle Casey went with us as well and we are so happy that they did. We had a wonderful time around the campfires and Mike and I got to walk to get water a few times by ourselves. We even got to walk on the beach ( the kids and grandparents were in front of us, but still we had empty hands). We can not wait to have many more camping trips this coming summer. Hopefully Lilah will be walking so we do not have sand everywhere!!!

This next year will be a lot of fun...everyday with them is such a joy, sometimes hard, but at the end of the day they are a true blessing

Mountain DAY!!!

We went to the mountains a few weeks ago and had a blast!!! We had a blast sledding down the mountains. Uncle Casey, Uncle Bobby, Auntie Laura, Kyler and both sets of grandparents went. Evan brought his new AWESOME sled that he got from grammie and grampie for Christmas. It was a perfect day for the mountains, nice sunny skies and some what warm weather up there. We got up there early enough that it was not busy at all, but by lunch time the crowd was rolling in. We really enjoy our time together as a big family and love doing activities like these.

Evan had a blast. He kept asking to go down the hills and wanted more snow!!! He asks to go to the mountains every time he sees his sleds. We are so excited to go back up there again soon, if there is anymore new snow.

Christmas Time

We had a blast this last Christmas. Evan truly got the meaning of Christmas and was asking for some of our traditions. We had a great time making cookies, learning about Jesus and Santa. Evan loves the idea of the reindeer. They both got o pick out their yearly ornaments and Evan really helped decorate the tree this year. They both did very well with the tree, leaving it alone. Santa brought them both some very nice bean bags and we all love them!!! They are wonderful chairs. Evan also got a Power wheel Jeep and loves riding Lilah around in it. He is a great brother. He picked out a t-shirt for Lilah when we were at a store one time and he even said he wanted to wrap it himself. He is so thoughtful. It was so nice to have our family time in the morning. we just relaxed and opened presents. We did a scavenger hunt with pictures for Evan to find the power wheels, which did not work out in our favor. He just waned to play with his hot wheels and not follow the pictures. Lilah had a blast as well, she loved the wrapping paper and was playing with her clothes!!!
Mike got me a very nice Kitchen Aid mixer which I have been using at least once a week and the kids and I got Mike an RC car. We are just so blessed to have the family around us and so blessed to our kids.

Man OH Man

Yeah, yeah I know it has been like 6 months since I have updated the blog. I always forget about it and I really need to start doing it more often. Even when the kids are napping and I can sit and write the blog I just want to sit sometimes and not do anything :)
We moved to Camas in Sept and have loved it. The kids have their own room and a play room. We are slowly getting things toghether in the house. Furniture, paint and hopefully some pictures on the wall here this week. We are just loving all the space and the neighborhood!!! I will try and back track to get some of christmas stuff on here and of the kids so it wont look like I was a slacker!!!
